The Challenge
Conveyor systems are the operational backbone of a fulfillment center — any misalignment in the mechanical structure or delay in power hookup directly impacts the facility’s ability to go live on schedule. The work required precise mechanical assembly alongside correctly coordinated electrical connections, all while working within an active or soon-to-be-active facility environment where timelines are tightly managed.
Our Approach
Our team began with the structural and mechanical assembly of the conveyor system, working from engineering layouts to ensure proper alignment, secure mounting, and structural integrity across the full conveyor run. Once mechanical assembly was complete, our electricians moved in to complete the necessary electrical hookups — powering motors, controls, and associated equipment to bring the conveyor system to full operational readiness.
By managing both the mechanical assembly and the electrical hookup within one team, we minimized the coordination gaps that typically occur when separate contractors handle each phase independently — keeping the project moving efficiently from structural installation through to power-on.
The Result
A fully assembled and electrically operational conveyor system, installed on schedule and ready to support the facility’s fulfillment operations — delivered through a single, coordinated scope rather than separate mechanical and electrical contractors working in isolation.
